The Teacher’s Lounge was a space where teachers from the community could earn professional development (PD) credits and plan project-based classes for their students throughout the course of the school-year.
The program was launched in 2013 in response to findings that 50% of teachers would burnout and quit within in their first five years, and was made possible thanks to the generous support of the Brooklyn Public Library, the Department of Education’s iZone, and the Makerbot Foundation.
